Little Kids Play House and Preschool

Set in a quiet residential neighbourhood of Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu,  Little Kids Play House is the dream of Mrs.Mahalakshmi – an entrepreneur aspiring to contribute to the education of the local community. The School Designs Studio worked with her in designing the play school, creating the foundation for her larger vision of setting up a full fledged learning institution.

Accommodating 120-150 children, the playschool designed by The School Designs Studio is built around the theme of a playhouse, with every interior and exterior element aligned with the core concept of play and movement. Sitting on a small residential plot with space constraints, the structure affords plenty of freedom, integrating smaller play zones throughout the layout. The building is designed around the child’s needs, with partitions and storage units that are flexible. Children are constantly engaged and stimulated, with ground plus 2-level structure providing ample means to explore and learn.
